On September 22nd, 2025, BCGEU escalated its strike to include Liquor and Cannabis Warehouses. This means that we cannot order product for our store through BC Government distribution. We can get some limited products directly through suppliers to help us try to maintain some inventory. Please be advised that we will likely run out of certain products until the strike is resolved.

On October 8th, BCGEU strike escalation moved to ALL BC Government operated Liquor and Cannabis Stores which are now behind picket lines. Approximately 25,000 members are now engaged in job action.

We will continue to update you as we get information. We will NOT be able to order product through BC Government Distribution until the strike is over.

On October 17th, BCGEU and the BC Goverenment agreed to enter non-binding mediation. It is expected to start this process soon, however an exact start date was not announced. ALL BCGEU picket lines will remain in place during this process. Since this mediation is non-binding, any agreement will be sent to the BCGEU membership for a vote. As it remains, we can still NOT order any product through BC Government Distribution.
